The following is just me writing up ideas that flooded my head today. Not required reading. It'll bore you, most likely. ;P

On 10-03-1999, a 66 year old Japanese-American male, Daichi Thompson was found dead in his apartment in downtown Brooklyn, New York, USA. He had overdosed a great deal on cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid). 40% crack cocaine, the remaining 70% of baking soda (10%) and rat poison (50%). It was revealed the cause of death was internal bleeding; the rat poison contained a high amount of the anticoagulant brodifacoum (CAS 56073-10-0) which caused the bleeding. This was taken orally instead of smoked. (Complete; 5+)

Coroner ruled it out as a suicide. He was without family and a widower with only a few casual friends. (Incomplete; -3)

On 10-06-99, a 33 year old African American male, Chris Abena was found dead at his home in Brooklyn Bride City, Downtown Brooklyn, New York, USA. His death, too, was caused by overdose of cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid). The drug had been cut with 25% pure crack cocaine, while the remaining 75% contained sodium perborate (powdered bleach.) This was evident by the irritated skin around his lips and inside his mouth. The police and coroner ruled this out as suicide, despite the wife, Lily Abena's, insistence that he was not a depressed person nor showed any signs of such behaviors. (Complete; 5+)

On 10-09-99, a 24 year old Caucasian male was discovered dead in an alley's gutter in by the Manhattan Bridge, NY, USA. According to time of death, he had been dead for nearly 28 hours before he was found by a 19 year old college student passing by on his way to school. He had been mugged; he neither had a wallet or any form of identification on him. (Incomplete; -2)

Two days passed before a 27 year old Caucasian male, Michael Jacobs, filed a missing person's report on his brother, Trei Jacobs, whose description matched the victim's perfectly. Michael later identified the corpse as his brother. Trace amounts of cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) had been found in his system. Given his weak immune system (diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome), he had a serious allergic reaction to the drug and died shortly after digesting it. His death was ruled out as an accident. When asked about his brother's drug use, Michael commented only with "I didn't know him that well--we only see each other every couple (2) months." (Report #0056) (Complete; 5+)

On 10-12-99, a 42 year old Native American female, Wenona Deer, was reported missing in Mainland City, Downtown Brooklyn, NY, USA. Her life partner, Darla Edger said that Deer had been missing for three days since 10-10-99. Prior to the disappearance, Edger admitted they had been distant lately and figured they would break up soon after. Wenona had been especially strained by the relationship. Edger figured when Deer did not return home the 11th at 7:30 from work, edger thought she was visiting a friend to clear her mind. (Complete; 5+)

10-11-99, Edger claimed to have tried to contact Deer around 2:34 PM, but her cell phone had been turned off. Edger stated she had tried calling all of Deer's friends and co-workers, but no one had seen her prior to 10-11-99. Edger decided Deer was probably somewhere by herself needing a break from everyone. When once again Deer lacked to contact her or any of her friends and/or colleagues, Edger went to the police and filed the missing persons report at 11:10 AM on 10-12-99. (Incomplete; -1)

Only four hours after the report was filed, at 4:54 PM, a police officer found Wenona Deer's body in a Best Rest hotel room (#6) five miles from her apartment. Apparently, the guest of the hotel room next door, #5, had complained about a bad smell emitting from the vents above. According to the man's report, he had called the hotel's owner to investigate the problem. (Incomplete; -2)

The owner, Margrit Yule, had gone to Deer's room to see if she had been experiencing the same bad scent, and to find the possible source. When Deer failed to answer the door after knocking (10 knocks total) and answer the room's phone (rang 5 times), Yule unlocked the door and went inside. She immediately found Deer's body hanging from a make-shift (bed sheet) noose by the ceiling fan, next to the vent. Yule called the police immediately, where an Officer Frank Hanson answered the call. (Incomplete; -1)

Various drugs had been found in the room, including marijuana (CAS 8063-14-7; Cannabis sativa) and cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid.) While a large amount of the crack cocaine (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) had been found in her system, her death was from broken spine from the noose. After the autopsy, it was revealed she had been dead for more than 64 hours, which means she had hung herself on the 10th. Edger failed to comment any further on the matter and was admitted into the hospital on the 13th for a nervous breakdown due to trauma. (Incomplete; -1)

10-16-99, 51 year old Caucasian female, Lauren Tune, was found dead in her house (location: Borough Hall Town, Downtown Brooklyn, NY, USA) from alcohol poisoning. Some speculated the high amount (74%) of 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (herbicide; CAS 94-75-7) in the 3.5 grams of cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) she had consumed could have been the cause of her death rather than the alcohol poisoning. (Incomplete; -3)

Tune had been a writer for the Brooklyn Gossip Paper (editions #94 (4-13-97) to #257 (10-10-99), and was notorious for living a practically lavish lifestyle despite her age. She was known to spend a lot of money on plastic surgery and had only just recently checked out rehab for alcoholism (admitted 09-14-99; discharged 10-05-99). However, ever since her release, Tune had become a very humble person and had laid low from the party and drug scenes since then, as they would serve as "triggers." (Incomplete; -2)

Tune's death was ruled out as suicide, due to lack of evidence of foul play. Police consider the reason of her suiciding was due to the stress of her hectic life and trying to avoid becoming addicted to alcohol again. (Notes say she had been an alcoholic since she was 33.) (Incomplete; -2)

On 10-19-99, residents of Cicada Village Apartments Center (near Downtown Brooklyn Elite University) Carl and Julie Rendolf of apartment 12, claimed to hear screaming from next door, apartment 11, around 6:06. Mrs. Rendolf stated her husband, Mr. Rendolf, went next door to check if everything was all right. When their neighbor, a 24 year old Mexican-American female, Teresa Munoz, failed to answer, Julia tried calling her cell phone. Still with no response, they had the landlord break the door down. (Incomplete; -1)

Munoz was found unconscious on her kitchen floor, badly beaten with what looked to be a blunt metal object. The Rendolf couple rushed her off to Brooklyn View Hospital. Munoz was barely conscious, and on the brink of death, her skull having been fractured and neck broken. After emergency surgery, eleven hours later, Munoz regained consciousness for a short period of time, specifically 31 minutes and 16 seconds. Doctors interrogated Munoz, asking her of the events of the attack and what she saw and knew. (Complete; 5+)

However, due to her bad state, Munoz could barely speak and claimed not to remember her attacker. Shortly after, she slipped into a coma. Tox screen returned reporting a high dosage of cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) in her system, taken shortly after her attack (again, taken orally.) Attending Doctor, Christine Ybarra, said that the amount would have killed her if she hadn't been admitted at the time she was. (Incomplete; -1)

On 10-20-99, I did my own investigation into the case upon hearing about it and discovered possible connections to the three male and female victims. The obvious was each took cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) prior to their death. Tox screens revealed ingestion had been recent, most likely a day or right before the initial deaths. Police ruled this out as any type of suspicion due to the massive amounts of drug related suicides and deaths that come into their office everyday. (Incomplete; -1)

While doing drug histories on the victims, I discovered one major factor each of them shared. Each victim had been very active in their religion organizations and faiths. Daichi Thompson taught as a Christian Seminary teacher in Kyoto, Japan from 1984 to 1992 before retiring and moving to New York in 1995. He had helped with Sunday school classes at his local church, Trinity Church of Christ. Trinity's head priest reported that while Thompson "wasn't exactly a people person, and could come off as cold, he was a very devout Christian and loved helping out others in times of need." (Report #0030) (Complete; 5+)

Chris Abena was a very stern Baptist, according to his friends and family. He married early to his wife Lily Abena, also a devout Baptist, did not smoke, drink or gamble. Which raises the question as to why Mr. Abena had sought drugs if he was so actively against them? Though any human mind can change, snap and rebuild itself, so perhaps that's nothing new. (Incomplete; -1)

However, with that in mind, Chris Abena worked a simple job (secretary for a dentist clinic), and lived a typical middle-class life. Mrs. Abena stated that a good deal of his paychecks had been donated to their church, Saint John Baptist Church, and its fundraiser's. They had fallen into a type of debt because of this and Mrs. Abena getting laid off from her job (clerk at grocery store.) With this in mind, the amount of cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) found in his system and home would be estimated to about $4820 USD. (Incomplete; -1)

Tracing his accounts and bank status, no significant amount of money had been removed. Mrs. Abena insisted that they had nothing of importance to sell that would earn him such money, and that he would never take any drugs. When asked how the drugs got into his system, Mrs. Abena was truly stumped, but said that Abena had never once tried drugs, and his history proves this positive. (Incomplete; -2)

Trei Jacobs had been in and out of hospitals most of his life, and had taken various drugs for his Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. However, friends and brother Michael Jacobs explained that Jacobs had never been bitter about his disease, despite how much damage it had done to him. He believed this was a type of "trial by God," and if he kept his faith strong, he'd get the "greatest rewards Heaven had to offer." He frequently went to church; specifically United Jehovah Witness's Community Church. His drug history includes antidepressants (Prozac, Zoloft, Lithium, Tegretol), pain relieving narcotics (Vicodin, Oxycotton), multiple nutrition/vitamin supplements (A to Zinc, Centrum) to over-the-counter medication (Ibuprofen, Aspirin, Tylenol.) (Complete; 5+)

Michael admitted that Trei had smoked marijuana (CSA 8063-14-7; Cannabis sativa) in the past (short period of time in 1992) but gave up the drugs when his CFS got worse. He was said to lead a healthy lifestyle and was a vegan. Police concluded he had taken the cocaine to ease the pain and left the house for a brief walk. When the allergic reaction occurred, he must have stopped in the alley where he died shortly after. (Incomplete; -1)

Wenona Deer's suicide matched the reports. She suffered from clinical depression, diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder at 15. She, too, had taken various antidepressants, Prozac the most recent since 2004. (Incomplete; -2)

After coming out as a lesbian to her parents when she was 29, she was disowned from the family. The trauma of losing her relative's respect and love drove her into deeper depression, leading her to take drugs such as heroin (CAS 561-27-3; diacetylmorphine) and marijuana (CAS Schedule I; Cannabis sativa) from 1991 to 1997. (Note: casual drug user.) Wenona attempted suicide by slitting her wrists, but was found by a friend and sent to the hospital (07-09-97.) She survived the failed attempt and spent two months in a Brooklyn Behavioral Health Institute. (Incomplete -1; however, can be complete if including note.)

Edger explains that she had been in the hospital at the same time Deer was admitted, suffering from Bipolar and a relapse of medication (Lithium) that led her to attempted suicide. Her and Deer became good friends; Edger says that their growing love for one another inspired each other to get better and come clean. When they were released, they moved in together and attended the local Latter Day Saints church. Deer frequently participated in church activities with Edger to help her cope. The idea of a relapse or manic episode leading her back into drugs and eventual suicide is a very strong possibility. (Complete; 5+)

Lauren Tune may have lived a rather unfit lifestyle for her Jewish faith, but she attended church every Sunday (Ben Gimel Memorial Church) and wrote Jewish children's books in her spare time. Tune wrote a collection of ten Jewish books (Desert Journey (published 11-23-92), Michael and the Magical Dreidel (published 01-15-95), Twelve Pretty Candles (published 06-09-98). Reportedly, she had been working on a teen novel for a month prior to her "suicide." Tune's was an alcoholic, but rarely ever touched drugs, and hated smoking. (Incomplete; -1)

When we come to Teresa Munoz, the idea of her nearly ODing on drugs is the most suspicious. Munoz had been going to church all her life, was very a devout Roman Catholic and had a minister for a father, elder brother and two cousins. Many fellow students said she was a very "traditional" person. She refused to date anyone until she was sixteen, was highly against pre-martial sex and abortion, detested drugs of any type and even refused to wear anything that showed too much flesh, such as tank-tops. Munoz attended her father's church, the Divine Union. (Complete; 5+)

According to her father, Juan Munoz, she shared everything with her family and would not do drugs, let alone not tell anyone about it. (Incomplete--was previously part of above paragraph.)

Why did each victim choose to take the same exact drug with nearly the same exact cutting that killed Thompson and Tune? While studying the contents of the cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) found in their systems, I came across a list of slang and street terms given to drugs. One of the most popular names for crack cocaine is Devil's Drug (among others, Devil's Dandruff and Devil's Smoke) when the substance is smoked or ingested rather than injected; each victim had done the former methods. (Incomplete; -2)

The connection between their religions and the term intrigued me. Divulging into the case more, I noticed the connections between the victims got deeper and deeper. (Incomplete; -3)

NAMES:
Each name of the victims contained a number, specifically from one to three.
Daichi Thompson: Daichi is Japanese for "first son," and "first" (ichi) representing "one," making him the first victim.
Chris Abena: Abena is African for "born on Tuesday;" Tuesday is the second day of the week, thus making him the second victim.
Trei Jacobs: Trei is the number three in Romanian, making him the third victim.

Wenona Deer: Wenona is Native American Dakoto for "first daughter," thus she becomes the first of the three female victims.
Lauren Tune: I can only assume the "tu" is used as "two."
Teresa Munoz: Teresa sounds very much like the Spanish word for three, or "tres."

This makes a total of 6 victims, 3 male, 3 female.

CHURCHES:
Each attended different churches, and had different beliefs. Thompson was Christian, Abena was Baptist and Jacobs was a Jehovah Witness. The females were the same when it came to different religious organizations; Deer was Mormon, Tune was Jewish and Munoz was Roman Catholic.

However, the connection they make under this category is the numbers in their churches.

Trinity Church of Brooklyn: (Thompson) Trinity is the holy number for 'three.'
Saint John Baptist Church: (Abena) John was one of the three apostles of Jesus.
United Jehovah Witness's Community Church: (Jacobs) While the church itself does not contain any specific number, it is located on the corner of 3rd Street in a residential neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY, USA.

The same is for the female victims.

Latter Day Saints Church: (Deer) 3rd most popular Mormon church in the area.
Ben Gimel Memorial Church: (Tunes) According to its history, the church had been established in 1935 by Rabbi Ben Gimel. When he passed away from colon cancer in 1967, the church, once formerly East Judaic Church, it was renamed as a type of memorial for him. Gimel is the number "three" in Hebrew.
Divine Union: (Munoz) According to Biblical numerology, the number three represents divinity.

3 male victims went to 3 separate churches, calculating to 6.
3 female victims went to 3 separate churches, calculating to 6.

AGES:
If you notice, each victim's age can calculate to 6. In the case of Daichi Thompson, his age was 66.

Daichi Thompson was 66.
Chris Abena was 33. 3+3=6
Trei Jacobs was 24. 2+4=6
Wenona Deer was 42. 4+2=6
Lauren Tunes was 51. 5+1=6
Teresa Munoz was 15. 1+5=6

With names that add/contain 6, there are 6 victims with 6 different churches.

However, this would only equate to 5 victims since Teresa Munoz survived her attack. Munoz was discovered at 6:10 PM; however the Rendolf couple reported hearing the initial scream at 6:06 PM. Wenona Deer's time of death was around 6:30 PM on 10-10-07. It goes on, with the other victims dying around, near or exactly at 6:06 PM or 6:06 AM. (Incomplete; -1)

Each attack/murder was separated by three days.

Either way, all together, this would be 666. If you combine the religious aspect of the victims and how they all add up, this is more than a coincidence. Things make more sense, though; if suicide was now being ruled out, the idea of clean, healthy people taking drugs becomes more unlikely. (Incomplete; -2)

While no fingerprints or other such traces had been found at the crime scene, while looking at the autopsy photos, I noticed strange sores around Lauren Tune's mouth. Studying them further, I discovered they were fresh burns, made around the same time as her death. I recognized the sores from chloroform (CAS 66-67-3; trichloromethane and methyl) exposure; if skin is sensitive enough, when chloroform (CAS 66-67-3; trichloromethane and methyl) is applied to it, it leaves behind burn markings. Chloroform (CAS 66-67-3; trichloromethane and methyl) is hard to trace, which can explain why the coroner could not find it. (Incomplete; -1)

Either way, this means she had inhaled chloroform (CAS 66-67-3; trichloromethane and methyl), which suggests that someone had knocked her out by placing a cloth against her mouth, due to the close contact. This could explain why most of the victims had died without showing any signs of struggle. However, it is obvious Teresa Munoz was attacked. I can only assume that since she was conscious, and yet the drugs were in her system, that as she was being drugged with the cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid), the chloroform (CAS 66-67-3; trichloromethane and methyl) must have worn off and woken her up. (Incomplete; -1)

This could also apply to Trei Jacobs. He could have been abducted while on his walk and forced to take the drug quickly so the attackers could make a quick escape. This makes sense because Jacob's apartment was in the middle of a busy city by a large intersection--too many people would mean higher chances of being seen. (Incomplete; -2)

The six victims each had been drugged unconscious or nearly, then were forced the cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid). (Note)

I contemplated who the murderers and attackers could possibly be. I automatically assumed a type of devil worshipping cult, using their victims as sacrifices, given the numbers. The better their connection to faith and God the greater the sacrifice, like a virgin to a dragon or monster in fables. It's obvious to conclude they did research on their victims instead of randomly choosing them. (Incomplete; -1)

The churches don't make a difference. I believe they just needed to choose places to pick them, and each church had to be of different organizations. So the third 6 does not apply to the second sixes. Which means the 666 is incomplete. Another six sacrifices would need to be made for murderers to complete the combination. (Complete; 5+)

I wondered if they would attempt to kill six hundred and sixty-six people, but by only three males and three females, it seems they just aim for three separate sixes. To do anything more drastic seemed highly unlikely at a 23%. (Incomplete; -3)

Since they have men and women, the third choice would be children. Children would be especially ideal if you combine the "pure, clean and religious" factor into the sacrificing. I started the case on 10-20-99, giving me three days (10-23-99) to figure out the criminal's identities before they made another killing. (Incomplete; -2)

The murders all took place in or around Downtown Brooklyn, NY, USA. New York would be an ideal place to choose victims because of its mass diversity--by choosing victims of different races and creed, it could possibly throw off leads and connections. Here I started researching possible future victims. (Incomplete; -2)

1.) The previous victims were all from different religious organizations, but they each worshipped the Christian God. I would assume their next victims would also worship the theory of God. Ruling out Christianity, Baptism, Jehovah Witnesses, Mormonism, Judaism and Roman Catholic, I came up with Lutheran, Muslim, Protestant, Methodist, Calvinism and Orthodox. At least one church of each were in the local area, I discovered.

2.) Their victims had to be from one of those churches and containing a number from one to 3 in their names in some form or another. There'd be three boys and three girls. They will most likely be of different race. Their ages will most likely be 6.

Another day of research, and I picked the most qualified victims:

BOYS
Diederik Bernard: German descent, six years old. Diederik is German for "first of the nation," equating "one." Methodist.
Kevin Too: Chinese, six years old. Too for two. Lutheran.
Daniel Wright the III: Caucasian, six years old. Third Daniel Wright in family. Protestant.

GIRLS:
Nadia Ataa: Islamic, six years old. Nadia being "beginning, first," or one. Muslim.
Marcy Dalawa: Filipina, six years old. Dalawa is Tagalog for "two." Orthodox.
Trinity Cheston: Caucasian, six years old. Well, obviously. Calvinistic.

After my research, I decided to alert the local authorities. I made sure to choose carefully which officers to alert. I had my suspicions. Each murder victim was handled by the 27th Precinct. (Incomplete; -1)

For example: the coroner, Doug Nelson neglected to mention the chloroform sores in his report on Lauren Tunes. Not only that, but alcohol poisoning could not have been the cause of death, but rather the over dosage of the cocaine. As a Medical Examiner, this should be obvious, but he went with the alcohol poisoning instead. Also, narcotics could very easily be accessed with his profession, especially poisons and toxins. (Incomplete; -1)

Also, one officer, Frank Hanson, had always been at the crime scene first. In one case, early, when it came to Chris Abena. Margrit Yule, the owner of the Best Hotel where Wenona Deer was found, had mentioned seeing a tall male enter the room twice on the 10th, with familiar structure ("tall, maybe 'bout 6'2". Big feller!" Report #89) and facial details ("Twer dark but he had blonde hair, really bright." Report #89) Not to mention, Hanson had been the one to answer the her call. (Incomplete; -1)

Studying their histories, Doug Nelson had been charged with drug possession in his Sophomore year of college at UI University in Texas in 1972. He later admitted in Police File #0072 that he had been a part of a small drug gang the same year. Nelson graduated with a PhD in pathologies and forensic science and joined the 27th precinct in 1996. Nelson's knowledge on drugs helped him get the job; twice he has helped in cases involving busting drug lords and circuits. (One in 1993 and another in 2003.) (Incomplete -1; complete if you count note.)

Frank Hanson's history is average at best, graduating from Wisconsin Police Academy in 1991, where he joined the 27th precinct shortly after moving to Downtown Brooklyn in 1990. However, according to medical records, Hanson had been in and out of hospitals during his adolescent years of 1965 to 1980 due to severe wounds caused from numerous fights. He had a bit of a reputation getting into fights, having suffered himself two broken legs, six cracked ribs, three teeth knocked out/replaced, fractured nose and broken toe. (Incomplete; -2)

I spoke with the 27th precinct's Chief, Neil Gordon, regarding Nelson and Hanson and their relationship with one another. Since they have been working there, Nelson has kept his record clean, while Hanson was temporarily suspended twice in 1994 and 1998. His 1994 suspension was due to violent and unnecessary assault on a suspect in a drug bust. The second suspension came when he punched a fellow officer for insulting his fake teeth. (Incomplete; -1)

However, Nelson and Hanson had become good friends and hung out quite a lot. I asked Gordon about their religious beliefs, but Gordon said they never spoke about it. (Incomplete; -3)

With my suspicions set, I had the Chief keep the list of next possible victims a secret. When he asked why, I stated my beliefs that he had dirty cops and murderers in his precinct. After a good ten minute row, he finally agreed and contacted a few police men (of my approval) to keep an eye on the six children for the next three days. More specifically to keep eyes on Diederik Bernard, who, if we go by the formula of the previous victims, would be the first. (Incomplete; -1)

On 10-23-99, I kept contact with the officer tracing Bernard, Samuel Jenkins. For the entire day, with Jenkins on phone, Jenkins watched over Bernard from a distance at his school. He tailed Bernard's bus home and watched the house for a half hour, before Bernard's mother Ellen drove her son off to soccer practice at the school once more. (Incomplete; -2)

Upon being dropped off, Ellen Bernard left her son with his twelve teammates and two coaches, returning home eleven minutes later. As the evening drew close, I ordered Jenkins to force Bernard to leave the group at 6:00; he needed to be alone. At 6:00 PM, soccer practice ended. In order to ensure Bernard stay alone until at least 6:10 PM, I had Chief Gordon call Bernard's mother to keep her busy. (Incomplete; -1)

Bernard was left alone by the front of the school where his mother reportedly picks him up. Jenkins was watching closely from three yards away, behind one of the school's portable classrooms. Since the car ride to and from the school is approximately ten minutes, at 6:03, I informed Gordon to let Bernard's mother go and call both Nelson and Hanson to his office immediately. Jenkins reported at 6:04 that the situation had not changed. A minute later, Gordon informed me Hanson was currently in his office while Nelson had returned home. (Complete; 5+)

At 6:05, I told Jenkins to get his gun ready (since Teresa Munoz had been attacked, the criminal(s) must be carrying a weapon of some sort (pipe or metal bat) and to move in at least one yard closer. At 6:06, a black Camaro pulled up to the school's curb next to Bernard. Nelson got out of his car and grabbed Bernard, trying to shove him into the back seat. At my command, Jenkins moved forward and shouted a warning. Nelson had tried to escape by getting back in his car before Jenkins shot him in the leg. (Complete; 5+)

With Nelson apprehended, I had Gordon arrest Hanson and put him in a holding cell as Nelson was taken back to the precinct. (Incomplete; -4)

Upon interrogation with both men personally, Nelson admitted that he and Hanson had committed the murders together. Nelson had taken out the three male victims, while Hanson took out the three females. Nelson had broken into Thompson's and Abena's houses, drugged them with chloroform and fed them the lethal cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid). Nelson had approached Jacobs on his morning walk as a police officer to ask him a few questions about the previous murders, leading him into an alley where he drugged him with the chloroform and cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid). After Jacobs died, Nelson hid his body under a garbage heap. (Complete; 5+)

(Note: the reason the body took 28 hours to find was due to the garbage having not been collected yet.)

Hanson had kidnapped Wenona Deer on her way home at 6:06 PM and took her to a hotel on 10-10-99. He killed her at 6:30 PM, same day, then left. He placed her body near the vent to ensure the bad scent travelled through the hotel rooms and thus attract attention. As for Lauren Tune, she had indeed been drunk when he found her, but not enough to cause alcohol poisoning. To cover up the drugs, Hanson forced more alcohol down her throat while she was unconscious along with the drugs. (Complete; 5+)

In the case of Teresa Munoz, he had broken into her house and drugged her with the cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) and chloroform. However, Munoz had woken up during the drugging and screamed. When she tried to make her get away, Hanson admitted using the lead pipe he took with him for protection to beat her to death. However, thanks to Rendolf and the landlord, he was forced to leave before he could kill her. (Incomplete; -1)

When asked why they had both chosen and killed these people, both men admitted they had been apart of a defunct Satanic cult dealing drugs (Devil's Flesh) which Hanson had helped close down in a drug bust. The man he had attacked brutally and was suspended for in 1994 was Bruce Terri, a member of the cult who tried to blackmail money from Hanson by saying he would tell the police his involvement with the Devil's Flesh circle. Bruce Terri had survived the attack and fled the city for his safety, from both Hanson and Devil's Flesh. Two months later, he was found murdered in downtown Manhattan by a former Devil's Flesh member. (Incomplete; -1)

Hanson had introduced Nelson to the cult/drug circle. They confessed to selling drugs on the job and to at least four other police officers. The Devil's Flesh cult broke up recently late September of this year (09-17-99.) Neither Hanson nor Nelson wanted to shut the cult down, and believed it could be revived if sacrifices were made. Since killing six hundred and sixty-six was impossible for them, they decided to kill six men and women and six children. (Complete; 5+)

Cocaine hydrochloride (CAS 53-21-4; crystalline tropane alkaloid) had been the Devil's Flesh main product; both men used it as a joke for its notorious demonic nicknames. (Incomplete; -4)

I just got the news today, 11-09-99, that Doug Nelson and Frank Nelson have been convicted and tried guilty for multiple third degree murders. Each have been sentenced twenty-five years to life with no chance of parole. (Incomplete; -3)

I'm afraid I didn't really do much. I just wish I had heard about this case sooner. Maybe I could have saved some of those adults. I don't know, it's a little nerve wrecking. But I guess you shouldn't focus on the negative, you know? If I thought this way about all cases, then I'd be better off not doing this job. (Complete; 5+)

Though I did find some amusing things during my research. (Incomplete)

For example, some drugs have single letters and aliases much like everyone here. I found out lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) is also known as L. And, of course, herbal ecstasy being X. There's numerous others, of course, but having gone through them all ready 5 times, I'm too tired to list them all, haha! But I know none of you will be disappointed. ;)

Also, I discovered my Gematria numerology number! (Incomplete)

XENOS XIMENES
7 7 5 6 3 7 1 4 7 5 7 3 = 55
5+5=10

10's are strong, energetic, determined types--who have the curse of crashing and burning a lot. E-Eh... (Icomplete; -2; technically -3)

One thing about this case I never want to see again, beyond the obvious: No more number 3, please. Not for a while, at least. I hate odds a lot. (Incomplete; -2)

Word Count: 5556

I really, really hope S feels better. I would comment on his journal or visit him, but I... don't think he wants to be bothered right now, heh heh... (Incomplete; -3)

Also, decide what type of ribbons you want to get A. (Note)

On 10-06-07, a 33 year old African American male, Chris "Abena was found dead at his home in Brooklyn Bride City, Downtown Brooklyn, New York, USA. (Complete; 5+)"

What an idiot.

You're supposed to have your dealer give the stuff a test sniff before you go off and snort the stuff that could be laced with who the hell knows what.

Still, cutting crack with bleach? Brilliant.

Only, it'd be better if it was dried drain cleaner, that would cause a lovely scene before the poor bastard keeled over and died.

Well, the drug had been administrated by force while he was knocked out with the chloroform (CAS 66-67-3; trichloromethane and methyl) by Nelson. So there was no testing since he technically did not take it. Since it was meant to kill the victim, the large amount bleach had to be done purposely. (Incomplete; -2)

Hahaha, I'm thankful it wasn't as messy as that. The crime scene and autospy photos were good enough, haha. (Incomplete; -3)

Really, some people are morons and maybe they deserved what they are given.
v_illainy[info]v_illainy on November 10th, 2007 06:53 pm (UTC)
Deserved is debatable.

However, Idiots will always be fair game in life.

Morons nonetheless, if they do not use common sense then they are failures in their own right.
X (24): Huh? [3][info]flu_x on November 10th, 2007 08:36 pm (UTC)
Hmm? Do you speak of the criminals or the victims? (Incomplete; -3)
[D] - ecadent [D] - ecay: -- Yep I am going to kill you:[info]d_ecay on November 10th, 2007 08:48 pm (UTC)
Maybe I should leave that option up to you.
X (24)[info]flu_x on November 10th, 2007 08:51 pm (UTC)
In a sense, the culprits deserved what they had coming. It's only fair and balanced--every action comes with consequence. However, I don't think the victims "deserved" it, since they had done nothing wrong persay. Well, sure, everyone does bad and wrong things, but people do good and right things. As unstable as a few of the victims were, I don't think they qualify in this case. (Complete; 5+)
[D] - ecadent [D] - ecay: -- Heh youre kinda stupid:[info]d_ecay on November 10th, 2007 09:18 pm (UTC)
Maybe the culprits did good aswell and didn't deserve what they got either.
X (24): confused [8][info]flu_x on November 10th, 2007 09:24 pm (UTC)
Oh? Could you elaborate? I'm interested. (Incomplete; -3)

In my opinion, killing is hardly justifiable, except unless in serious defense. Also, the reasons they had committed their crimes was to gain back a cult drug circle that pedaled these harmful drugs. Then there's sacrificing people, which is even worse. (Incomplete; -2)

I can see, however, how these two could be suffering from some sort of mental instability. Hanson's past experiences with his rage could suggest a form of PTSD from family, or perhaps Bipolar Personality Disorder. Nelson seemed like a well off guy. But, really, there's a fine line to draw between being insane and perfectly sane. (Incomplete; -1)

More elaborating?
Obliviously there are effects that are known to be used by drugs, everyone knows them and the risks of them and them having to destroy their own life because for whatever reason. Also if they happen to be mentally unstable it is very sure they could get some sort of psychiatric help as it is always available and really, people wouldn't give up on them, so there is always a alternative apart from illegal drugs.

It is just easy to say that one way or another they would die sooner or later. They put themselves in that spot, they should of known the consequences, if not they got what they deserved and of course it isn't justification, it just happens.

[[OOC: *shrugs* D is just stupid :D]]

I agree completely with your thoughts regarding the criminals. But I can't say the same for the victims, of course. [Incomplete; -3]

((OOC: XDDD S'not.))
